Excellent near fields. 
I refinished them. The have base notch flters and volume filters, these are two way nearfileds, high end on top and low end on bottom, you can run them full range too. 

XLR and 1/4" inputs. I refinished the wood and spray painted them black.  Looks pretty tough.
