Hands down, one of the most reliable, easy to use drum mic kits. This is my go to kit. Great response on the Shure capsule. Let's be honest, SM57s are an industry standard for toms snares and everything else. The claps aren't trash either. They are machined and clamp in many different ways to get the exact angle you're looking for. Remember, aim the mic towards the dirty spot of the head ;) Also keep enough clearance for stick use.
Shure PG drum Kit with clamps and SM57s!
The PG series is budget friendly but sound worhty. I have used this drum mic kit about 30 times, live and studio. Pretty please with it.
The PG-52 is the little brother to the Beta-52a, but we love the sound the capsule produces, especialy during mix down. The SM57s, i don't need to even say anything, you know they rock and can be used for just about anything. No, someone didn't rob the 52a fromt his kit, this is a rare, soft case Shure drum mic kit with PG-52 and 57s. The best of everything for price and audio capturing fexibility. I've used the PG-52 as a bass guitar tracking mic too. Amazing results with built in notch, don't believe me? Look at our "GK Bass combo" listing.
